Current Mood: Cool

I like days like this. It’s not too warm, but not chilly. Cloudy, but not drizzling or pouring. Lazy, but not total dead beat. I spent most of the day today on the couch in and out of sleep, then finally taking a power nap, which doesn’t happen very often. Very rarely, in fact. I guess sleep has finally caught up with me, and I didn’t know how truly exhausted I have been.

Also, tonight I made myself quite a dinner. When I thought about what I had made for dinner this past week, I realized I haven’t made a damn thing! Between a shitty work hour and errands to run right after work, I didn’t have the energy to cook. So I took the time today to play Chef T-Rock and made this:

My place smelled like heaven. Oh, and it tasted like heaven too!

The weekend was spent on putting lots of deliciousness in my (and other’s) tummy. There was a party in everyone’s stomach, for sure.

A bowl of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries topped with extra creamy whipped cream. I have very little appetite lately, but at least these yummy berries are holding my tummy down.

Put berries in a small bowl, crush a couple of graham crackers, mix, and top it with whip cream… You get an amazingly yummy and refreshing snack. I have been craving these delicious berries for days.

Kat Von D’s Painted Love Lipstick in Lolita
Every once in a blue moon I will splurge on high end cosmetics. When I read Kat Von D came out with her own makeup line I was so inclined to check it out. I walked in to a local Sephora, found her own tiny display, and I was in LOVE. I, especially, loved her lipcolor in Lolita (not the color pictured above). It’s the perfect nude-ish shade I’ve been looking for from many different cosmetic brands. This shade makes me feel exactly what the color was named after… a lolita!

Oh yeah, her True Romance eyeshadow palette in Beethoven is to die for. Bold, glam, and edgy as hell. Now, I have to find the perfect occasion to wear them to!
