I’m awful when it comes to writing up an autobiography. Don’t know what the public wants to know, or what I want the public to know. So instead of paragraphs of who I am, what I do, etc., etc., here are some random, interesting, and useless facts about yours truly: I’ve tapped into different forms of art for years, have grown bored with most of them, but music was and will always be my ultimate art form. I am deeply fascinated with: antiques, European architecture, vintage damask wallpaper, vintage inspired shoes, Salvador Dali’s mind, and Tim Burton’s dark imagination. I have an unhealthy collection of: lip gloss, eyeshadows, and scarves. I love scented candles. Apple cinnamon and french vanilla are my faves. I think the iPod, netbook, and DVR are three of some of the best inventions ever made. Bands that rock my world: HIM, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, Garbage, Alice in Chains, 30 Seconds to Mars, Babes in Toyland, and a few others… Albums that changed my life (somewhat in chronological order):
As a native New Yorker, I’ve never set foot inside the Empire State Building or been to Time Square for New Years Eve. I used to love buying used CDs and bootlegs. There is something lovely about unwanted CDs. But East Village, NY has gone the ways of the yuppy and trend whores, and most of my favorite record stores have shut down. Thanks to the internet, I can continue my used CD hunting. |
